A first look inside the new Hershesons super salon in Harvey Nichols

Hershesons has opened the doors to its second super shiny, ‘super salon,’ on the fourth floor of Harvey Nichols
And, it’s mega.
Much like the vast, 5000 sq ft space it opened on Berners street this time last year (that has, quite frankly, put every other London hair salon to shame), this super salon is a one-stop shop for all your beauty needs.
Daniel Hersheson has once again called on design house GP Studios and architect Racheline Michaels to work on the space, which is located on the opposite side of the fourth floor to where Hershesons has had a (much smaller) space for several years.
“As one of the first spaces we ever opened, Harvey Nichols remains at the heart of the Hershesons brand. Now bigger and better, it continues to give our clients Great Hair, bringing together the kind of experts and experiences that clients won’t find anywhere else,” says brand founder Daniel Hersheson.
So what can you expect?
In addition to the army of super talented Hershesons stylists (for the uninitiated, you can’t go wrong with Grace NH or Ryan W), the new Hershesons Harvey Nichols space will also run an ever-changing residency programme of celebrity stylists and colourists, giving you the chance to get trimmed or toned by some of the most famous names in hairdressing. Alex Brown, Jenny Cho and Lena Ott are already on the 2019 calendar.
The salon will also offer a new off-the-rack and bespoke wig service for those that want to switch up their style.
So your hair’s on point, but does your skin need a little pick me up? The salon will also offer the latest high tech skin treatments from New York dermatologist and A-lister facialist Dr. Dennis Gross.
Bronzing supremo James Read will also be offering his signature, glow-getting spray tans.
There will also be an on-site Hershesons own-brand nail bar, so you can get your mitts sorted whilst simultaneously having that cut and blow.
Fancy a matcha latte with that mani? Or an acai bowl with a blow dry? Super cool Aussie health food specialists Farm Girl Café is opening its fourth West London outpost within the salon. Uber ‘grammable gorging guaranteed.
Creative Director Luke Hersheson (Daniel’s son), describes it as “a space that’s cool, fresh, modern and luxe – with a home-from-home feel that clients never want to leave.”
Hershesons new salon in Harvey Nichols opens on Thursday June 6 2019.
